'Twas the Night Before Christmas
It’s Christmas Eve, and Cici, Bridget and Lindsay are busy preparing for their annual holiday party. The tree is sparkling, the turkey is roasting, the wreaths are hung and the eggnog is chilled. The scene is set for the perfect Christmas... with one or two exceptions.
The entire state is in the midst of a heat wave. No one can find any mistletoe. The Christmas tree lights keep exploding, and, perhaps worst of all, something has gone terribly wrong with Ida Mae’s fruitcakes. It wouldn’t be Ladybug Farm if everything went according to plan, and as the ladies deal with one mishap after another, they remember Christmases past, laughter shared, and lessons learned.
But when nightfall descends upon Ladybug Farm and one of their own still has not come home, they begin to worry that this Christmas will be one to remember for all the wrong reasons. All they can do is cling to each other as they watch and wait ... and pray for miracle.

I love this series and I love Donna Ball's writing. She is won of my favorite authors. I have grown to love the women who are the main characters in this series, as well as the other people who become a part of their lives and the story line. Sometimes I laugh right out loud when reading the Ladybug Farm series. I have given these books as gifts and everyone who has read them loves them. I hope more will be forthcoming.Product details

I absolute love the ladybug series! This one was a delightful Christmas story.

This is short, but very sweet. It is a must read, if you are keeping up with the Ladybug Farm series. I have totally enjoyed each an every book in this series and this is no exception. It is a really good Christmas story. I highly recommend it, but only if you have read the first three books. This one is not a stand alone story.
I read all the books in the Ladybug Farm series. In fact my book club has enjoyed them, too. It's about three women who buy an old mansion in the South and fix it up, while dealing with the many changes and challenges in their lives. Nothing deep here, but fun reading.
I was ecstatic when I opened my e-mail and found Donna Ball had done it once again and right here at Christmas time. What a great present and surprise, a chance to visit my favorite Ladybug Farm on Christmas. As always Donna Ball never disappoints. The story of this crazy loveable "family" warms my heart once again here at Christmastime when love and family are so cherished. My 39 year old son recently died and any chance at laughter is a treasured blessing. I loved the book and look forward to more time shared with my "extended family." Merry Christmas to you all snd good reading on Ladybug Farm.
I read this book around the Holiday season and loved it. It is a fun read with lots of little issues going on in the lives of the each of the people/couples staying at the Ladybug Farm during Christmastime. Almost read it straight through.....held my interest. Great read anytime of the year.
This series just keeps getting better and better. The easy, laid back, style of the characters that are so relatable because of their humanity, draws you in immediately. You get lost in the richness of their history and start to see them as real people, with real flaws but also with real love. Unforgettable!
